Missy Elliott Reveals: Whitney Houston Told Me to Look Out For Bobbi Kristina Brown
As Whitney Houston‘s daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, remains hospitalized after she was found unconscious in a bathtub on Jan. 31, rapper Missy Elliott has rallied around the 21-year-old.
The ‘Lose Control’ singer explained their close relationship, telling Yahoo Celebrity’s ‘The Insider,’ “Bobbi is like a little sister to me. I have been very close to her mother. One thing that her mother said to me before she passed away was to make sure Bobbi Kristina was straight, so my prayers for healing [are] that she comes out and be around people that love her.”
Before her big performance at last night’s Super Bowl, the 43-year-old tweeted:

According to various reports, Whitney’s only child is currently in a medically-induced coma. A lawyer for her dad, Bobby Brown, confirms she was moved to a new hospital on Sunday.

“The report that Bobbi Kristina Brown has been taken to the hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, is accurate,” lawyer Christopher Brown said, according to ‘Page Six’. “No additional information will be forthcoming.”
It is still unclear how Bobbi Kristina is doing due to conflicting reports about her health. Some outlets claim she’s in stable condition while others say she has been declared brain dead.
It’s been nearly three years to the day that Whitney was found dead in a bathtub at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Our thoughts go out to the family.
