Say it ain't so! Fans knew that bad news was coming on the March 13 episode of My Big Fat Fabulous Life, but they didn't think it would be this bad! It was revealed that Whitney Thore's mom Babs' pet Mr. Pigglesworth has passed away, and fans couldn't be more heartbroken.

"Oh no I’m sorry, ? I can’t believe he’s gone. RIP piggy peace and love," wrote a heartbroken fan. "I never cried so much in an episode ? so heartbreaking," said another. "I just saw and my heart is literally breaking for y'all… I'm so sorry for your loss!! We all adored Mr. Piggy! Gone but never forgotten! Rest easy Piggy ????," another fan chimed in.

The potbellied pig and unofficial show mascot was only two years old, as Whitney revealed in a throwback photo to honor his short life. These types of pigs have an average lifespan of 12-15 years, so no one expected him to go so soon. Unfortunately, he came down with a bacterial infection and just couldn't fight through. Whitney went on to share some of her favorite photos and videos of the pink-and-black cutie.

The terrible news was teased the week before, and Whitney told Life & Style exclusively what to expect. "Well, [he’s someone] that the viewers have become attached to and someone that they really like is not going to be a part of our lives anymore unexpectedly," she said, before the announcement that Mr. Pigglesworth was the unfortunate soul. "It was devastating and just super unexpected and we’re all okay we’re all making it through." Our heart goes out to the Thore family in this sad time.
