Natalie Portman Flaunts Bikini Body in Cannes With Mystery Man After Benjamin Millepied Divorce
It’s Cannes season, and Natalie Portman is soaking up the sun when she’s not walking the red carpet! The A-lister was photographed rocking a bikini with a mystery man during a day on the water following her divorce from ex-husband Benjamin Millepied.
Natalie, 43, was in great spirits during her outdoor adventure in photos published by TMZ on Monday, May 19, one day after the snapshots were taken. Although her hair was pulled back into a ponytail, she let it down as she jumped off a tall diving board and into the water. A smile flashed across her face as she leaped into the ocean, and as she walked back up the diving board for another round of thrill-seeking.
In one photo, Natalie walked in front of a mystery man, who donned multi-colored striped swim shorts. It’s unclear if he’s a new flame or just a friend.
The Star Wars alum is in the French Riviera in celebration of the 2025 Cannes Film Festival.
Natalie looked breathtaking when she took the Cannes red carpet on May 16, while promoting the film Arco. At the event, the starlet wore a Dior gown, which was simply a masterpiece. The floor-length strapless dress featured black fabric and small, silver embellishments that seemingly looked like the scene of a theatre.
“Always impressed by the level of care and imagination that goes into @MariaGraziaChiuri’s designs — a recreation of the classic 1951 Robe Mexique by Christian Dior,” Natalie gushed in the caption of her May 17 Instagram post.
The May December actress also shared photos with her Arco costars in a separate post. Natalie stars in the French animated film, which she voiced and produced.
Natalie continued to make headlines after actors Mark Ruffalo and Tucker Pillsbury joined the cast of the upcoming romantic comedy Good Sex. The Black Swan actress landed the lead role as Ally in the upcoming film, a 40-year-old successful couple’s therapist who is caught in a love triangle between a man 10 years her senior, and another who is half her age.
“Is it risky to get into business with Lena Dunham at a time when Lena is not the most beloved or celebrated figure in Hollywood? Sure, and Natalie knows it,” a close friend of Natalie exclusively told Life & Style in April. “Is Natalie rolling the dice a little with this thing? Yeah, but there’s also a huge financial upside for her if people like the movie.”
The source later added, “This kind of move has paid off for her before, like when she made Black Swan 15 years ago and it became a massive worldwide box office hit.”
Netflix outbid Warner Bros., Amazon and Apple on the upcoming film, which reportedly sold for $55 million.
Natalie’s career is booming following her March divorce from Benjamin, 47, after 12 years of marriage. The pair separated in August 2023, months after reports claimed that the choreographer was cheating on Natalie with Camille Étienne.
Despite Natalie calling the accusations against Benjamin “terrible” in February 2024, the exes have not confirmed or denied the cheating claims.
