Considering Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and her husband, Jionni LaValle, have three kids under the age of 10, it’s hardly surprising that the longtime pair has to wait until their little ones go to bed to spend time together!

“We make sure to have movie night with wine and cuddles when the kids are asleep,” the retired Jersey Shore star, 32, responded to a fan who questioned if she and Jionni, 32, ever hang out. As it happens, this isn’t the first time one of Snooki’s followers questioned her relationship with Jionni. In August, the New Jersey native was forced to defend her marriage after sharing a sweet photo.

Basically, Snooki shared a summertime selfie with Jionni driving a boat in the background. “Wow. I didn’t think your man existed anymore,” one hater wrote. “Yeah, because I don’t post pictures of him to the world that totally means he vanished from this universe,” Nicole clapped back.

Dealing with trolls is pretty common when you’re a celebrity and while Snooki can’t control that, she did decide to make a major change to her work schedule. The MTV fan favorite announced on December 6 that she is leaving the reality series that made her a star.

“I am retiring from Jersey Shore. The main reason is really … I just can’t do it anymore. Literally, leaving my kids to film it is really hard on me. I try and quit every single day. I just hate being away from the kids. I don’t like partying for three days in a row,” Snooki explained on her podcast with bestie Joey Camasta.

“It’s just not my life anymore. I want to be home with the kids,” she reiterated. “It’s just really hard for me to leave the kids and film the show.” Beyond having a hard time being away from her family, Snooki thinks things have changed (for the worse) since Jersey Shore aired in 2009.

“Our show is about family and making fun of each other and having a good time and laughing and just knowing that it’s all in good fun,” she expressed. “Lately, everything is so serious … It’s not about a team anymore. Fans are against one another when it comes to a cast member. I don’t want that.”

We’ll certainly miss you, Snooki!
