‘Jersey Shore’ Star Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi And Her BFF Joey Camasta Are Legit #FriendshipGoals
Forget JWoww and Snooki, y’all! Snooki and Joey are where it’s at. No shade to Jenni “JWoww” Farley or anything, but whenever Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and her longtime friend Joey Camasta get together, it’s a wild (usually wine-fueled) ride.
For those of you who aren’t familiar with Joey, let’s just say: You’re missing out. Snooki’s fabulous BFF describes himself on Instagram as a “celebrity makeup artist, comedy kween, and foodie.” He also happens to co-host the ever-hysterical podcast It’s Happening With Snooki & Joey.
In addition to co-hosting a podcast together, Joey and Nicole are always filming amazing YouTube videos for Snooki’s channel. From beauty hacks to taste tasting, to just generally getting drunk and being ridiculous, the dynamic duo has pumped out a lot of worthwhile content.
If you feel like diving back into the MTV archives, however, you won’t be able to catch much of Joey on any of the Jersey Shore seasons. In fact, unlike Snooki, Joey’s only IMDb credit to date is working in the makeup department of Project Runway back in 2010. That’s OK, though! It’s clear that you don’t need to be a reality TV alum to build a solid friendship with Snooki.
The cutest part of their friendship? We’re glad you asked. Joey and Snooki’s kids, Lorenzo, 6, and Giovanna, 3, and Joey have the sweetest relationship — they even call him uncle Joey! TBH, Joey is just as much of a partner to Snooki as her husband, Jionni LaValle… sorry, not sorry. Speaking of partners, according to Joey’s Facebook page, he’s single! We bet Nicole totally gets a say in who Joey dates. After all, what BFF doesn’t?
Just the other day, the pair took to Instagram to participate in the Lindsey Lohan dance challenge and it was everything. Don’t believe us? Lindsay was so impressed by their rendition of her crazed-moves that she commented several emojis on Snooki’s video. Think what you want, but that’s a big deal.
Basically, If you’re anything like us and happen to find JWoww and Snooki’s friendship a little yawn-worthy on the new season of Jersey Shore Family Vacation, then you should definitely check out everything she does with Joey these days. You won’t regret it!
