Snooki Reveals Whether or Not She’s Still Friends With Ryder
One of the best pairs of friends we ever saw on the small screen had to be Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and her pal Caitlyn Ryder, who is better known as “Ryder” — and with Jersey Shore Family Vacation airing every Thursday night, many fans of the MTV reality series have been wondering where the two stand today. In an interview with In Touch, the mother-of-two revealed whether or not they are still friends — and we must say, her response was rather surprising!
“We talk to each other from time to time on Facebook, but I always explain it like, you have your party friends and you’re great friends growing up, and then once you get pregnant and you kind of form this family, you just kind of drift apart and you don’t really have anything in common with them anymore. You know what I mean? So it was kind of just like that situation,” she explained.
“I mean, if the fans watched Snooki & JWOWW, when I went to Cancun while I was pregnant, she kind of wasn’t there for me — that was kind of like the first step to me realizing, ‘I don’t think she’s gonna be my friend now that I’m pregnant,'” Snooks continued. “There are no hard feelings — I just feel like every girl goes through that, you know, when you’re at different stages in your life and you’re moving on, but some people are still wanting to go out and party and they’re not ready to have a family, so it was just kind of like that situation. Like we were going in two different directions and we just didn’t have anything in common anymore.”
And there you have it, folks! However, we can’t lie — we would love to see these two back in action one day.
