Nikki Bella Is Already Planning Her Wedding — and John Cena Is in Charge of the Budget!
It’s been less than one month since Nikki Bella and John Cena got engaged — and they’re already planning their wedding!
The WWE power couple opened up about their upcoming nuptials and even though it’s still in its early stages, they’ve already set a budget — and John’s main duty in the wedding planning process is to make sure they stick to it!
“I’m kinda in charge of the budget,” the 40-year-old told E! News. “So we’re going to keep everything on dollar—or there’ll probably be some leeway but I just want the event to be fun."
He went on to explain that even though he previously was against the idea of marriage — after going through a particularly rough divorce from his high school sweetheart Elizabeth Huberdeau five years ago. But four months after it was finalized, John started dating the 33-year-old Total Divas star and the rest is history.
“To be quite honest with you, Nicole has taught me a lot about what she believes the union between two people is and she’s made me a believer out of it,” the 16-time WWE champ gushed. “That’s certainly why I did what I did at Wrestlemania, and I know how important the day is to her and that’s not to say it’s not important to me — it’s very important to me.”

Their nearly five-year-long relationship played out on the hit E! Reality TV series — and even on the spinoff Total Bellas — and even though John seemed to be very adamant in his decision not to remarry, Nikki hoped that one day he would change his mind.
"John is in a place where he doesn’t see marriage. I respect his decision right now because I’m happy,” Nikki said on the show. "I do want to get married and I want to have kids — and I want to have all that with John. I hope one day he wants those things!”
