Patrick Schwarzenegger Approves Of Future Brother-In-Law Chris Pratt: He Is ‘Really Great!’
Aw, nothing like sibling love! On Jan. 13, Chris Pratt, 39, revealed he popped the question to Katherine Schwarzenegger, 29, and of course, she said yes. And there’s another family member that is super excited about his future brother-in-law: Patrick Schwarzenegger.
“He’s really great,” Patrick told Us Weekly and other reporters at the California Strong Celebrity Softball Game on Jan. 13, just hours before Chris shared the engagement news with his 22.3M followers.
It looks like Chris and Patrick have a fun relationship, too! On Dec. 12, The Avengers star posted a hilarious snap with the California native at a basketball game. “Great floor seats at Staples Center last night. So close you could smell the action,” Chris joked on Instagram.
The Midnight Sun actor also described the bond he has with his tight-knit family. “I hang out with my family probably more than the average 25-year-old does,” he said. “We just do everything. I mean, I was just with my mom. We just made oatmeal at the house, watching the Chargers and Patriots game. Going to bike ride with my dad later. We just do everything together.”
Chris sounds like he fits in perfectly with the Schwarzenegger gang, as he cherishes time with his son, Jack. Recently, the brunette beauty has been spotted playing with the 6-year-old — and it looks like he’s just as smitten with his soon-to-be-step-mom!
The Parks and Recreation alum couldn’t help but gush about his engagement on social media. “Sweet Katherine, so happy you said yes!” he wrote. “I’m thrilled to be marrying you. Proud to live boldly in faith with you. Here we go!”
Katherine couldn’t hold in her secret any longer either, as she also posted about her new bling on Instagram. She captioned the photo, “My sweet love. Wouldn’t want to live this life with anyone but you.”
We’re so happy for them! It sounds like Chris is already part of the family.
