No Bad Blood Here! Reggie Bush Has the Nicest Compliments for Ex Kim Kardashian
Talk about a blast from the past! It’s been a while since we’ve heard Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush‘s names in the same breath, but the two are back to making headlines together like it’s still 2007. It’s all good news, though, because Kim K’s famous footballer ex is actually throwing a little love her way. Though the two don’t keep in touch, he has kept an eye on her at least a little bit — and he’s been happy with what he’s seen. After all, she’s got a gorgeous family with Kanye West, and Reggie would be a fool not to notice that considering his family with Lilit Avagyan looks remarkably similar — North West and Briseis Bush could basically be sisters.
But lately, it’s Kim’s business sense that her ex has been admiring. “She’s very smart,” the athlete told Us Weekly. “She’s doing a great job creating a brand for herself, her and her family. I’m happy for ‘em.” How sweet is that? Especially when it comes on the heels of Kim having to relive her fight with big sis Kourtney Kardashian, who isn’t as impressed with the family’s brand these days. The sisters had it out with each other on their reality show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, in its premiere last week, and the drama was so intense that it even spilled over onto social media (although, OK, we’re pretty sure that part was just for show).
Either way, it’s gotta be nice to know that your ex is impressed — and that he’s rooting for you. And coming from Reggie, who struggled to deal with the fame that came with dating a reality star like one of the Kardashians, it must mean even more. After he and Kim split in 2010, he struggled with the media attention, especially all the speculation about his romantic life. “Maybe I should say no to everyone who ask me for a pic!” he tweeted at the time. “Then I won’t have to worry about being linked to dating anybody!!! Yeah!!” We’re glad to see he’s happy and settled down these days — and that he’s only got love left for Kim.
