Eva Marcille Weighs In On ‘RHOA’ NeNe Leakes And Porsha Williams Drama: ‘I Believe In Girl Code’
Drama, drama, drama! We’re only five episodes into Season 11 of Real Housewives of Atlanta and it’s already keeping up at the edge of our seats. NeNe Leakes And Porsha Williams‘ friendship already has a complicated history and they are already butting heads on-screen. This past week, some of that fighting boiled over to social media. The newest full-time Housewife, Eva Marcille, exclusively spoke with Life & Style to share her thoughts on the situation.
As far as the NeNe and Porsha drama, Eva declared, “I’m not a person to take sides, especially when I’m not involved in it.” However, she did add, “I do believe in girl code, I can tell you that. So, that’s your friend. I think, you know, when somebody tells you something in confidence then you’re supposed to keep it in confidence.“
During the most recent episode of RHOA, it was revealed that Porsha was the one who outed NeNe as the person who tattled on Kandi Burruss and Cynthia Bailey’s gossip about Porsha’s man, Dennis McKinley. Yikes. NeNe took to Instagram after the episode aired to seemingly throw some shade at her frenemy.
“Loyalty is hard to find! Why is that? Thank you to the people that ride wit [sic] me til the tires fall off! Many of these girls are in alliances they think you know nothing about. They wanna be looked at as the good person (when they are not),” NeNe captioned a photo that said, “Loyalty is Royalty.”
When it comes to Eva and NeNe’s friendship, the former model has nothing but love and respect. “Man. My hat is off to NeNe, she takes it all in stride. She’s such a good caretaker, she’s like superwoman,” Eva said referring to NeNe’s husband, Gregg Leakes, who’s battling stage 3 colon cancer. “I don’t know how she does it. She has not only has that situation but she’s still a mom and she’s still raising her son and she has a business.”
As for Eva’s first season as a full-time Housewife, it’s “been busy.” Viewers will get a front row seat to her wedding and, Eva added, “they’ll be able to see a lot of the work we put into having the wedding and putting it together. The roller coaster that is.” The reality star gushed, “The day was magical. It was the best day of my life.” Besides the vows, she said fans should be most excited to see the performers who played during the reception. Stay tuned because Eva said it was incredible!
