Aww‘RHOA’ Alum Kenya Moore Shares ‘Thankful’ Photo Of ‘Miracle Baby’ On Instagram
There’s a lot to be thankful for out there. Real Housewives of Atlanta alum, Kenya Moore, gave birth to her first child, Brooklyn Doris Daly, on Nov. 4, and like most moms, she seems entirely over the moon about her “miracle baby.” She recently took to Instagram to share a photo of her new arrival and tell the world how thankful she is for her little girl.
On Nov. 22, Kenya posted a sweet pic of her holding her almost one-month-old and giving her the snuggle of a lifetime. The caption was short and sweet, but it really said it all. “Thank God for my miracle baby, my husband and my life. When you have faith in Him all things are possible. Happy Thanksgiving from the Dalys.” She even added in some hashtags, including #love, #brooklyndaly, and #preemie. This is the first confirmation for fans that sweet Brooklyn was a preemie, and it just makes so much sense that Kenya, 47, keeps calling her a miracle. Between Kenya’s age, her preeclampsia complications, and tiny Brooklyn being, well, extra tiny, the first time mom has been through a lot. What a strong little girl you are, Brooklyn; you must get it directly from your mama.
This is also the first photo full photo of baby Brooklyn, sans her tiny face, of course. On Nov. 11, one week after little Brooklyn’s birth, Kenya posted a sweet photo of her new baby’s hand inside her own –– our first official glimpse of her. This new second photo gives us a little bit more.
In the past, Kenya has been vocal about her desire for a child, even when it’s just been a subtle comment on Instagram. Around this time last year, she posted a video of her two dogs in the sand when she was in Barbados with husband, Marc Daly, lamenting about the potential for children in the caption: “My twins King and Twirl. They bring so much fulfillment in my life, calm, happiness, and purpose. I can only imagine what children can do.”
We’re so happy that Kenya finally has started to find out how much “fulfillment, calm, happiness, and purpose” children can bring to your life when you’re a mom. Now, bring on the face pics so we can gush with you on how cute baby Brooklyn is, Kenya. Fill our feeds with that happiness you’re talking about!
