Don’t invite the IRS to my baby shower! Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore has been accused of stiffing the government on a pretty big tax bill and now they’re taking matters into their own hands.

According to documents acquired by The Blast, Kenya was served with a federal tax lien on Oct. 12, for unpaid taxes in Georgia for 2016. The IRS allegedly stated that the total amount owed was $152,678.36. Woof. The government agency then placed a tax lien on her home, which means if she sells it, the IRS gets theirs before she gets anything. Then, and only then, Kenya can collect the rest of the cash.

Kenya gave birth to a baby girl on Nov. 4, named Brooklyn, with husband Marc Daly. Her first! She is one of many Real Housewives of Atlanta stars who are gearing up to be mothers, either again or for the first time.

Kandi Burruss, a long time RHOA cast member and singer, recently revealed her plan to use a surrogate for her fourth child, with husband Todd Tucker. Porsha Williams, another RHOA cast member, was just released from a hospital stay while pregnant for the second time. This will be her first child, with fiancé Dennis McKinley. We know she’s having a girl, by the way – thanks, gender reveal party! Unfortunately, her first pregnancy ended in a miscarriage, due to complications from fibroids.

Kenya has always been a firecracker on Real Housewives of Atlanta – really, aren’t they all? – but it remains to be seen if this legal incident chills her out a bit. But between this hefty bill and becoming a new mom, Miss Moore has a lot on her plate. Here’s to hoping both her legal situation and her journey into motherhood both radiate positivity!
