Kyle Richards Slams ‘RHOBH’ Costars Dorit Kemsley and Sutton Stracke Over Plastic Surgery Drama
Kyle Richards weighed in on Dorit Kemsley’s feud with Sutton Stracke, who accused her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills costar of getting plastic surgery on her face.
“I do not like when anybody talks about people’s looks or their financial situations. It’s ugly,” Kyle, 55, told Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast on Saturday, November 23. “Listen, I’ve had my arguments. We disagree on the show, but I don’t do ugly. I don’t hit below the belt. I don’t like that.”
Earlier this month, Sutton, 53, accused Dorit, 48, of getting plastic surgery during a “Who Even Am I?” segment with MTV UK. During the game, Sutton and The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Lisa Barlow had to guess which of their costars the other was describing. While Sutton held Dorit’s card to Lisa, 49, the Vida Tequila cofounder said she “lives beyond her means.”
Lisa later followed up the shade by saying how pretty Dorit was, to which Sutton replied, “Well when you’ve had enough surgery, anybody can be pretty. Look, I can be real rude.”
The comment quickly turned into a viral moment on social media and the fashion designer had a few words to say after seeing the interview.
“I’m almost thankful that she continues to put her foot in her mouth,” Dorit said during a November 14 interview on the “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast. “This is what Sutton likes to do. You know, it’s who she thinks she now has become.”
Dorit went on to accuse Sutton of “liking” the headlines about RHOBH cast drama and claimed to have not undergone plastic surgery procedures, excluding her breast augmentation. After quoting Sutton’s shady comment, Dorit said, “I was asking to myself, ‘Why hasn’t Sutton done it then? She has the money, right?”
“She can afford vodka and plastic surgery, so why hasn’t she done it if it’s that easy? I’m just curious. We’ll leave it at that,” she continued.
Dorit has been accused of getting plastic surgery over the years since making her season 7 debut in 2016. In December 2021, a fan asked the reality star if she’d gone under the knife during a Q & A session via Instagram Stories.
“The only plastic surgery I’ve had done is my boobs,” Dorit answered. “It drives me crazy when people say I’ve had plastic surgery on my face. I’ve done filler and Botox, and I work with masterful makeup artists who can transform your face.”
That said, Dorit was sued by private nurse Natalie Vanderstay in April 2023.
In the filing, Vanderstay claimed to have helped Dorit recover from a plastic surgery procedure and allegedly did not receive her payment, according to court documents obtained by Life & Style. Vanderstay sued Dorit for $8,600.
“I am a private duty nurse and I provided medical services for [Dorit]. [Dorit] had plastic surgery and hired my services for day and overnight care; to monitor and assess her pain, administration of medications and treatments (as directed per her physician’s orders),” Vanderstay’s statement read. “As well, as address all her medical needs and concerns. I submitted an invoice to [Dorit] after my services were completed and [Dorit] has refused to pay me.”
Vanderstay was awarded $8,675.000 in a small claims case in April 2023, according to documents obtained by Life & Style.
