‘RHOC’ Star Vicki Gunvalson Celebrates Engagement Party With Steve Lodge and Her Costars!
It was a family affair! Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson celebrated her engagement to her boyfriend, Steve Lodge, at a gorgeous party hosted by her costars Tamra Judge and Shannon Beador — and it looked like quite a lovely event.
“Thanks to @tamrajudge and @shannonbeador for hosting such [a] beautiful engagement party for @stevelodge_oc and I,” the 57-year-old captioned a series of three photos and a video from the party, posted on May 18. “We loved every minute of it. I’m still trying to learn the 2step.”
The party seemed to have a country component to it, if the video of everyone dancing in cowboy hats is anything to go by, so we love knowing the bride-to-be is still getting her dancing skills in order before the ceremony! So cute. Her good pals, Tamra, 51, and Shannon, 55, were there, as well as other cast members — including her one-time foe Kelly Dodd, as Life & Style can confirm she was in attendance.
The OC OG even included a few hashtags in her post, like “#season14,” “#finalparty,” and “#engagementparty,” so it seems as though the event was both caught on camera and the final blow-out of season 14.
Season 14 has been an interesting topic when it comes to Vicki, because no one is exactly sure what her role in the season will actually be. Back in February, rumors started brewing that the longtime cast member had been “demoted” to a “friend” role on the upcoming season.
Radar Online even reported that the blonde “took a nearly 50 percent pay cut per episode” with “no guarantee for episodes,” but used her intention to get married to her 60-year-old boyfriend as leverage for her position on the show.
On May 18, an insider told Us Weekly that the OG was “not included in the group cast photos and they shot multiple options,” though Bravo did tell the outlet Vicki has filmed for season 14 and participated in the promo photoshoot — so we’ll see when things air!
