Congrats are in order for Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson! She announced her engagement to her boyfriend, Steve Lodge, on Instagram on April 26 and we are absolutely thrilled for the reality star.

“I said “YES”. ♥️💍,” the 57-year-old OG captioned the sweet post, which included a photo of her and her new fiancé posing together. She is, of course, showing off her new rock with a hand on his chest — and the diamond looks seriously stunning! The couple looks incredibly happy and we can’t wait to see what comes next for them as far as wedding planning goes.

It makes sense that Vicki would settle down with Steve, 60, because he’s really been there for her lately. On April 13, the RHOC star revealed that she had undergone some “non-elective” procedures and shared a collage of photos of herself in a hospital bed in the midst of dealing with her health.

“Had another ‘non elective’ procedure yesterday and feeling much better today,” she captioned the photo. “Thank you to all that reached out.” Steve, naturally, made a smiling appearance in one photo and it seems as though he’s been a rock and support system for Vicki lately.

Another reason why the engagement was (most likely) imminent is the blonde’s reported demotion for season 14 of Orange County. According to Radar Online back in February, Vic made some negotiations that will be reducing her screentime — and that those negotiations saved her from getting cut altogether. The engagement seemed to be part of that package, according to an insider.

“She will, however, have getting engaged and getting married as a major part of her storyline this season,” the source revealed. “That was a game changer when she brought that to the table.”

Well, at least we know we’ll definitely see all that wedding planning. Looking forward to it, guys. Congrats!
