Halsey Stunned at Her First-Ever Met Gala Appearance — See What the Singer Wore!
As if 2019 wasn’t already a monumental year for Halsey, the “Without Me” singer, 24, stepped out at her first-ever Met Gala on Monday, May 6, in NYC dressed to kill. Halsey rocked a two-piece red gown that was simultaneously super glamorous and sexy.
Unsurprisingly, fans were obsessed with the look. The 24-year-old always slays on the red carpet and she made her presence known at the fashion event of the year. Her candy apple red crop top was paired with a matching full-length skirt that had an amazing train. She completed the look with gold cuff bracelets, long earrings and pointy-toed red shoes.
While the New Jersey native has pretty much been killing it since January, the month of May has truly been an exciting time for Halsey. For starters, on May 1, she gave not one, but two electrifying performances at the 2019 Billboard Music Awards.
Earlier in the night, Halsey totally rocked the stage with her hit single “Without Me,” followed by a killer performance of her new song with world-famous Korean band BTS, “Boy With Luv.”
Shortly after all of the hype from the BBMAs, Halsey went ahead and blacked out all of her social media accounts. At the time, fans thought she was releasing some new music. However, they later came to find out that she was actually announcing two intimate shows at NYC’s legendary Webster Hall.
While tickets are undoubtedly sold out now, Halsey will be performing songs from her first album, Badlands, on Wednesday, May 8, and songs from her sophomore album, Hopeless Fountain Kingdom, on Thursday, May 9.
You know what that means … she only has one day to sweat out her post-Met Gala hangover before rocking out with her diehard stans. That said, considering Halsey’s been in the industry since 2014, we sincerely doubt she’s a stranger to rallying.
