Fashion Influencer Brigette Pheloung Hints at This Year’s Dramatic Thanksgiving Outfit
Brigette Pheloung, better known as Acquired Style online, is known for creating fun fashion content online.
Often, she incorporates her twin sister Danielle Pheloung, showcasing their dynamic and mutual love of fashion.
While Brigette has amassed over 1.6 million followers on TikTok for her everyday content, she has also gone viral for one particularly festive reason, her dramatic holiday outfits.
It all started with her 2024 Thanksgiving outfit, which consisted of a nearly $9,000 cable-knit designer ballgown from the brand Parker Zinn.
On November 28, 2024 Brigette posted a TikTok of her entering her family’s house in the ballgown while the rest of the family was wearing jeans with on-screen text reading, “Them: ‘we are having a casual Thanksgiving’ Me showing up:”
The video received over 1.1 million likes and had the internet buzzing.
While the cable-knit ballgown went viral and had been her most dramatic look to date, Brigette explained in a November 2024 Instagram post that overdressing for her family holidays was actually a tradition she had started several years ago, and each year she was simply trying to top the year prior.
For Christmas 2024, Brigette attended her family’s gathering in a custom-made replica of the gown the 2007 Holiday Barbie wore, which also garnered attention on TikTok.
This year, Brigette has been tight-lipped about the details, but has already been posting TikToks about her excitement to reveal this year’s Thanksgiving look.
“I am doing something custom, and I am very excited,” she shared in a November 25 PEOPLE article. “I feel like every year I take it to the next level.”
Brigette also shared that her fans should “expect the unexpected” this year.
