There isn’t a Housewife out there who doesn’t think Bravo TV boss Andy Cohen is going to be an incredible father — former Housewives included. Real Housewives of New York alum Kelly Killoren Bensimon recently caught up with Life & Style exclusively at the Neiman Marcus Hudson Yards grand opening in NYC, and she gushed about her excitement for her former boss and his journey into fatherhood.

“Oh my God. Andy Cohen, congratulations baby daddy. He’s a baby daddy,” the 50-year-old socialite said with a laugh. “Um, I just think it’s going to be a great dad. I mean, literally he like, you know, raised all of these different Housewives.”

When you think about it like that, Kelly definitely has a point. The Real Housewives franchise began all the way back in 2006 with the debut of Real Housewives of Orange County and it’s safe to say the 50-year-old host and producer has been essentially “parenting” a huge “family” of cast members since.

“Um, well, he had definitely raised me from 2009, so I just think he’s going be incredible,” she continued. “He’s a really great person. He’s got a lot of great female powerhouses that can help him and are going to be great, you know, um, mentors and helpful to his kids. I just am really happy for him.”

Female powerhouses, indeed. The original Bravolebrity had a lavish baby shower back on January 26 and almost every Housewife from the franchise was in attendance to celebrate the incredible milestone. Talk about a family of matriarchs — Kelly’s right, this baby is going to have a lot of aunties to go to for love and support.

Andy welcomed his first child, Benjamin Allen, via surrogate on February 4 and we honestly haven’t stopped celebrating since. He announced his new arrival as he closed out an episode of his talk show, Watch What Happens Live, on December 20.
