Hollywood hunk and great dad? Eva Mendes is one lucky lady! Ever since the couple welcomed their two little girls, Ryan Gosling has been solely focused on his family over his work, an insider revealed to Life & Style.

“Ryan puts family first. His priorities have definitely flipped; family is first now, career second,” a source exclusively told us. “Ryan loves being a dad to his daughters more than anyone knows. He’s always been a natural with kids, but his girls Esmeralda and Amada have completely changed his perspective on everything he’s done in life.”

Although the actor, 38, is known for his roles in La La Land, First Man and The Notebook, it seems like he is happier spending time out of the spotlight.

“He and Eva, 44, are all about giving each other some alone time, away from the kids,” the insider added. “Ryan is hands-on. He’ll take one of the girls, or both, out for the day and spend some real quality time with them. He really is a great dad.”

On January 25, the father-of-two was spotted at a book store with his 4-year-old daughter, Esmeralda, and it looked like his little girl was having a great time with her papa. Aw! We are tearing up, TBH.

The lovebirds have remained coy about their relationship, however, the Canada native gushed about his family during a 2016 interview. “Eva’s the dream mother, and they’re dream babies, and it’s like a dream that I’m having right now,” he told GQ. “I’m dreaming it all.”

Surprisingly, The Mickey Mouse club alum admitted that parenthood never even crossed his mind when he was younger. “I didn’t have a romanticized idea of it … It came about in a very surprising way and kind of organic way. There was nothing kind of premeditated about it, you know. It just suddenly was: My life had changed. And thank God it did.”

Well, being a dad looks good on you, Ryan!
