Ryan Reynolds Organizes ‘Special’ Date Nights for Pregnant Blake Lively ‘at Least Once a Week’
PSA: Ladies, never settle for anything less than Ryan Reynolds. In addition to being talented, handsome and a good father, the A-list actor, 42, is also quite the impressive hubby. So much so, that he makes it a point to keep the romance alive with his stunning wife, Blake Lively.
“While juggling their busy work schedules with looking after daughters, James, 4, and Inez, 2, can be challenging, Ryan still manages to find the time to organize something special for Blake at least once a week, especially now she’s pregnant with baby number three,” a source exclusively dishes to Life & Style.
So, what does date night for Ryan and Blake, 31, look like? Well, pretty much as sweet as you’d imagine.“They’re not into the Hollywood scene and like to keep their date nights simple – enjoying an intimate evening in together after putting the kids to bed is what they love doing most,” gushes the source.
“To be honest, Ryan isn’t the best cook but that doesn’t stop him from trying! He’ll whip up something simple in the kitchen, like a pasta dish and light candles to create a romantic ambiance while they eat,” adds the insider. Ummm, pasta sounds perfect, if you ask us! Blake is definitely one lucky lady.
“Blake’s feeling pretty exhausted due to the pregnancy,” the insider notes. “So, after dinner he’ll give her a shoulder or foot massage to help her relax and they’ll snuggle up on the couch and watch a movie.” Not to get repetitive, but ladies, seriously, set the bar at Ryan Reynolds and never go lower than that.
While neither Blake nor Ryan has confirmed when the former Gossip Girl actress is due, we suspect that we’ll get to meet Reynolds baby No. 3 some time in October! In the meantime, we hope Blake enjoys all those foot rubs!
