Pregnant Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds Are ‘Wanting a Boy’ for Baby No. 3
Though girls run the world, it looks like Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are hoping their third baby is a boy! According to a source who spoke exclusively to Life & Style, the couple can’t help but want a little guy so that the Deadpool star, 42, can have someone to bond with.
“They already have two daughters James, 4, and two-year-old Inez, and while they’re just hoping for a healthy child, they’re secretly wanting a boy,” the insider revealed. “Ryan says he’s outnumbered at home, he’s trying to even the playing field, so a son would be great.”
“Blake comes from a big family, five kids, and Ryan’s parents had four, so she loves the idea of having a lot of children,” the source continued. “Ryan, who didn’t grow up with any sisters, says he already knows a boy is coming, he says he can feel it.”
Despite what they get, the Gossip Girl alum, 31, and her hubby are over the moon about their growing family. “Blake and Ryan couldn’t be happier about having another child. She’s been pretty vocal about wanting four or five kids, so they’re right on track,” added the insider.
When it comes to her pregnancy announcement, Blake did it in the most epic way and pulled a Beyoncé. On May 5, she attended the NYC premiere of Detective Pikachu with Ryan, in support of his role, and it was there where she revealed the exciting news with a noticeable baby bump and posed for the cameras.
According to another insider, Blake waited for the perfect moment to go into the spotlight. “Ryan entered solo and did all the media interviews. Then, instead of entering the theatre, he walked back to the top of the carpet, and people gasped thinking he was leaving,” the source exclusively told Life & Style.
“But instead,” the insider continued, “he met his wife and asked to be introduced again, now with his wife, at the top of the carpet.” Such an unforgettable moment!
