It’s long been speculated that the strong women of the Kardashian/Jenner clan often bring bad luck to the men in their lives, and sources exclusively reveal to Life & Style that he’s hellbent on proving that the curse does exist — he’s even blaming his excessive partying and self-destructive behavior on his ex-girlfriend, Kourtney Kardashian.

“Kourtney was the only steady thing in his life, and now he sees no reason to stay sober,” says an insider, “so he just drinks until he passes out.” The 34-year-old has been flailing ever since his 2015 split from Kourt. The couple was together for the better part of a decade and they share three children together —seven-year-old Mason, five-year-old Penelope, and two-year-old Reign — but Kourtney, 38, grew tired of Scott’s wild partying, binge drinking, and cheating, so she kicked him to the curb for good.

But Scott has been spiraling out of control within the past few months, ever since Kourt went somewhat public with her relationship with 24-year-old model Younes Bendjima. They even had a contest to see who could one-up the other while they were both vacationing in Cannes back in May. While Kourt flaunted her new boy toy, Scott hooked up with a handful of women — including 19-year-old actress Bella Thorne.

Just this month, Scott was spotted with 18-year-old Emma Blanchard at the Club REVOLVE party hosted by 1 OAK in the Hamptons. But two days later, he was back with Bella at the NYC hotspot Catch, and earlier this week, he hosted an event at 1 Oak Las Vegas. Even he’s a grown man who makes his own decisions, Scott “actually blames Kourtney for his issues,” says the insider. He was so upset when he found out that Kourt was planning to marry her new boyfriend, “he amped up his womanizing and drinking. He can’t make a right decision.”
