How Old Are the Women From ‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’? Cast Ages Breakdown
If there’s one show that has the internet in a chokehold, it’s The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. Since premiering on Hulu in September 2024, the series has turned everyday influencers into headline-making reality stars — and fans can’t get enough. In just a year, the cast has danced on primetime TV, written bestselling books, exploded on TikTok and even spilled over into Bachelor Nation. Naturally, viewers are now asking the question everyone’s thinking: How old are these Mormon wives?!
As the stars frequently explain, marrying young is relatively common in their community — and their family lives show it. Taylor Frankie Paul, Demi Engemann, Jessi Ngatikaura, Mayci Neeley, Mikayla Matthews, Layla Taylor, Jen Affleck, Whitney Leavitt and Miranda McWhorter share a combined 26 children, with three more babies arriving in 2025. Between co-parenting, filming and content creation, MomTok is basically a full-time job.
Over the past year, the cast’s off-camera drama has grown just as buzzy as what viewers see on-screen. Whitney’s complicated relationship with the group has especially kept fans talking. After exiting the circle at the end of Season 1, she fought her way back during Season 2 — but her friendships with Mikayla and several of the women never fully healed. Meanwhile, Demi emerged as the group’s new lightning rod after a messy attempt to edge Taylor out.
Even after some cast members paused filming, alliances continued forming behind the scenes. Whitney and Demi, once seen as rivals, began attending influencer events together, sparking speculation about their growing bond. And when Whitney eventually rejoined filming — making a splashy appearance at Miranda’s birthday party — the tension was impossible to miss.
Whitney later revealed her unexpected reasoning for returning: stepping back in front of the cameras made her eligible to audition for Dancing with the Stars. While some criticized the move as overly strategic, others pointed out that Jen was also aiming for a DWTS spot — and Taylor is making her own leap into franchise TV.
“I am not your typical Bachelorette. That’s no secret at this point,” Taylor told Vanity Fair. “Here’s the thing: A lot of people go through a lot of shit in life, and not a lot of people would share it. I’ve made a lot of mistakes, and I share it—take it or leave it. I’ve tried to showcase myself the same, both onscreen and off.”
And here’s the twist: most of these women are still under 30. Scroll through our gallery below to see their real ages.
