Finding out your on-again, off-again boyfriend of 10+ years is getting married to the woman he dated during your brief breakups is pretty earth-shattering. Even the most well composed gal would likely lose her s–t.

As far as how Selena is doing now… well, she tried to "play it cool" when news broke on July 9, but ultimately, she "was devastated," according to In Touch. An insider told the publication that "[Selena] always held out hope that she would marry Justin and have his children." Poor thing!

Even sadder than that, it seems she has zero hope for the future as well. That’s right, Miss Gomez has seemingly thrown in the romance towel. During a BuzzFeed game of "Would you rather?" with her fellow Hotel Transylvania 3 castmates, the "It Ain’t Me Singer" addressed how she feels about getting into another relationship.

"Would you rather find out the love of your life is a vampire who needs to drink a gallon of your blood every night to survive or be single forever?" was the first question read aloud. "Mmmmm, I think I’m going to be single for the rest of my life," Selena quipped in that sort of joking, but also totally serious "I’m going to go cry into a pillow" way.

TBH, if a stunner like Selena Gomez has that kind of mentality, the rest of us don’t stand a chance. Here’s hoping she get backs on her feet soon enough and doesn’t let Justin’s engagement get in the way of her finding happiness again.
