‘Shahs of Sunset’ Star Reza Farahan Teases Major Drama for Season 8: ‘It’s Insanity!’
If you’re a fan of Shahs of Sunset, you may be in for a treat! According to Reza Farahan, this upcoming season is going to be wild.
“It’s not the juiciest season yet,” the 45-year-old admitted exclusively to Life & Style. “I think it’s going to be the juiciest season of any show on Bravo ever. Period. It’s insanity!” The reality star, who just finished filming Shahs, also revealed he had a tough time on the job. “Oh my God. Literally, this was the hardest summer of my entire life.”
“There were so many fires and explosions,” he explained. “I cried, screamed, I literally — lunatic status. It was insanity and I don’t ever want to go through it again, but it’s been memorialized, I understand, on film.”
When asked about new characters and new relationships, Reza said season 8 will give off a sort of nostalgic feel, only way better. “Literally like take it back old school and set it on fire is actually what it is now,” he said.
Besides filming, the real estate agent stays busy with his husband, Adam Farahan. Despite looking picture-perfect, the two recently faced a rough patch in their marriage. “He wasn’t feeling appreciated, and I was so focused on myself and doing work that I forgot that I have a husband and he needs attention as well,” Adam, 34, explained on part 1 of the Season 7 reunion. “And I wasn’t giving that to him, and I also wasn’t acknowledging the amazing things that he was doing for both of us.”
“That just started this downward spiral for me, and I said I wanted a divorce,” Reza said after revealing Adam wouldn’t do “a really simple thing” for him. However, the couple was able to patch things up and successfully come out the other side. Good for them!
