They want to bring back the magic! Alyssa Milano and Shannen Doherty didn’t get along on the set of Charmed (which Shannen left in 2001, after the third season), but in June, Alyssa, said they’d recently reconciled and now “talk a lot.” And one of the things they’re talking about is a reboot of the show, about three witchy sisters.

“Alyssa and Shannen are hoping Charmed gets a second life on network TV or Netflix,” an insider exclusively tells Life & Style. “They have been talking to [co-star] Holly [Marie Combs] about reprising their roles. They’re getting a kick out of the idea of getting to play moms in their 40s with teenage witches as daughters.”

Of course, Alyssa, 44, patched things up with Shannen, 44, after her former nemesis was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015. In an exclusive interview with Life & Style, Shannen said that her diagnosis also helped her reconnect with other former co-stars she had previously feuded with._ Beverly Hills, 90210_’s Jennie Garth, Luke Perry, Ian Ziering, and Jason Priestley all reached out to check in on Shannen upon hearing the news.

Though only time will tell if a Chamred reboot will come to fruition, Shannen gushed to Life & Style about her role in TV Land’s upcoming revival of the 1988 movie Heathers, which she starred in alongside Winona Ryder and Christian Slater. “It’s so good,” she told us at a Farrah Fawcett Foundation event honoring Stand Up to Cancer in Beverly Hills on Sept. 9. “I’m just happy to be a part of it in any capacity.”

Going into the weekend with a lot of gratefulness. No matter what we face in life, there is still such beauty to appreciate. #cancerslayer

As for her health these days, Shannen told Life & Style that she has never felt better. “I feel great! I feel very strong,” she said. “I feel blessed that I’m in remission, [and] I feel blessed that I had cancer in the first place. I’m very happy. It’s a second chance at life.”
