Years ago, Sofia Richie was just Paris Hilton’s best friend’s little sister. However, that changed over time and their recent hangout proves it. The pair of blondes were spotted having the best time together at the Boohoo’s All That Glitters holiday event on Thursday, November 7, in Los Angeles.

“Sofia joined Paris at her table near the DJ booth while Diplo deejayed,” a source exclusively told Life & Style. “The two looked like besties smiling and laughing while standing close trying to talk over the loud music. They looked genuinely happy to see one another and have some girl time.”

We’re sure it was nice for them to catch up. After all, they both have such busy lives, which explains why they don’t get to hang out that often. Back then, though, that wasn’t the case. Growing up, Paris, 38, was close to the Richie fam because she was Sofia’s older sister Nicole Richie’s bestie. Considering the heiress was always around the sisters, she grew attached to Sofia, 21, as well.

“She is so amazing. I love her,” Paris divulged to Us Weekly in June. “She’s like my little sister. I’ve known her since she was born and now to see her grow up into this amazing, beautiful woman … She’s so mature and has such a good head on her shoulders.”

In 2016, Sofia gushed about the Simple Life alum and expressed her love for her. “It’s really nice to have her kind of, as like a sister, because she’s been through it all and she gives the best advice and she wants the best for me and she sees how my path is going,” Sofia told Wonderland at the time. “She’s really rooting for me and giving me the best tips, how to avoid certain things and how to be the best version of myself that I can be.”

So far, Sofia is doing great. The model recently collaborated with Missguided for a clothing line. In addition to working with fashion, she made her Keeping Up with the Kardashians debut in the October 6 episode. The episode focused on an awkward trip she went on with her boyfriend Scott Disick and his ex/baby mama, Kourtney Kardashian.

Now that she’s a reality star too, we wonder what’s next for Sofia!
