Spilling the tea! Priah Ferguson may be friends with her Stranger Things costars now, but it turns out the 12-year-old had no idea who Winona Ryder and David Harbour were before she booked the gig.

When Life & Style exclusively asked Priah if she knew who Winona and David were before, she did not hesitate to answer. “I’m not even going to lie. I really didn’t,” the actress, who plays Erica on the Netflix series, said. “I’m not even going to sugar coat anything.” Despite not being familiar with their earlier works, Priah still has a lot of respect for their craft. “They’re so nice. They’re so sweet. I’ve learned a lot from them,” she said.

When asked what she’s specifically learned from the dynamic duo, who play Joyce Byers and Jim Hopper, Priah said their “acting skills.” “Their acting is really good, so I took some tips from them,” she revealed. The brunette beauty also said that “their nuisances” are something she tries to incorporate into her own acting.

Just like her character Erica, Priah considers herself to be a nerd. It turns out, the pre-teen is a huge history fan and can probably school anyone on the subject. “I can sit right here and tell you everything about [the Vietnam war].”

Priah first appeared on season 2 as a guest star in a few scenes. However, in season 3, we saw more of her wittiness, as well as the unique friendship she shares with Gaten Matarazzo’s character, Dustin.

Their bond goes beyond the set. Priah, who has partnered with GoGo squeeZ for their Bring Back BE time, revealed that she always has a blast with the 16-year-old, whom she considers the comedian amongst the cast. “He just says these funny jokes that are so true, but I will also say the whole Scoop troop. We always get a good laugh in whenever we see each other.” We can totally relate as we can’t help but crack up when these jokesters pop up on our screens!
