Kyle Cooke Responds to Amanda Batula’s Claim He Slept at a Fan’s Apartment in ‘Summer House’ Season 10
Season 10 of Summer House isn’t even out yet, but the teaser released on December 9 has already left fans with enough drama to start chewing out Kyle Cooke, once again.
The moment that set the internet on fire? Amanda Batula casually reveals that her husband came home at sunrise after allegedly crashing at a fan’s apartment. Her exact line — “Kyle fell asleep at some fan’s apartment and came home at like 6:30 in the morning!”
Kyle is now trying to shut down the rumor mill and explain what really happened the night he didn’t make it home.
Speaking to People, he admitted he stayed out way too late but said the accusation isn’t accurate. “There’s no excuse for staying out as late as I did, but I want to be clear that I did not sleep at a fan’s apartment,” he shared. “I was at an event that Amanda chose not to attend, which moved to a bar and then to an after-party. I don’t use anything to keep myself wired, so I think I ended up falling asleep on a couch, and suddenly it was almost 6 a.m. Do I regret the situation? Absolutely. But that’s the truth and full extent of what happened.”
Of course, the trailer makes it clear this is only one piece of the tension between the married couple this season. When Amanda filled in Ciara Miller and Lindsay Hubbard, Ciara dropped the only appropriate reaction, “That’s f****** insane.”
Meanwhile, Kyle is shown venting that he doesn’t feel supported, saying, “I played the biggest gig of my life, and Amanda couldn’t care less. I don’t know what matters to her anymore.” Amanda, on the other hand, voices her frustration over his nightlife-filled career, saying, “I wanted him to stop going out and partying, and he found a career where he goes out late and parties.”
Their heart-to-heart later in the teaser shows just how much they’re struggling with Kyle admitting the issues between them stem from “compatibility, chemistry, [and] intimacy.” And in another moment, Ciara even suggests Amanda consider threatening to leave if Kyle doesn’t step it up.
Despite all of this, Kyle and Amanda are still together today — even with fans constantly speculating.
