Summer House’s Lexi Wood Plays Coy When Asked About Drake Dating Rumor: ‘Pass’
Summer House star Lexi Wood has been open about her past romance with ex Brooklyn Beckham, though played coy when asked if she ever dated rapper Drake.
While appearing on the Wednesday, May 7, episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, host Andy Cohen asked Lexi, 27, about “the timeline” of when she was “dating” Drake, 38.
Lexi laughed before she coyly responded, “Can I take a sip and pass [on] this one?’”
While the Bravo star did not share any insight about her rumored romance with Drake, her pointed look into the camera alluded that there was more to the story than she let on.
Rumors began to swirl that she dated that “Nice For What” rapper after her costar Jesse Solomon, whom she dated on the show, made the claim while appearing on an April episode of “Chicks in the Office.”
“Listen, the people are saying I came on strong, but I think Lexi matched my energy,” Jesse, 31, said about his romance with Lexi. “When you’re going for a girl who’s dated Drake, you’re not going to get her by playing it cool.”
Jesse continued, “Like, my style is aggressive, and I’m not going to be anybody but myself. So watching it back, I guess I was love bombing, but I’m learning about love bombing now. So yeah, I’m trying to be better the next time around.”
Fans have watched Lexi and Jesse’s love story bloom and fall apart during season 9 of Summer House. While there’s no denying that they were instantly attracted to each other, they both expressed concerns about apparent “yellow flags” in their relationship.
Lexi was upset to learn that Jesse flirted with housemate Ciara Miller when she was out of town, while he also got his toe sucked by another woman that same weekend. Meanwhile, Jesse claimed that Lexi asked him to stop commenting on other girls’ Instagram posts and made him unfollow women on social media.
While Lexi didn’t share much about her alleged romance with Drake, she has been more open about her previous relationship with Brooklyn, 26, in 2018.
During her appearance on the May 7 episode of “The Viall Files,” Lexi was asked her thoughts about Brooklyn’s famous dad, David Beckham.
“David Beckham is often thought of as, like, one of the sexiest men alive,” host Nick Viall began. “How does it feel to date someone whose dad is, like, kind of a daddy?”
After she said that it was a “funny” question, Lexi insisted there was nothing weird about it. “I feel like he was just always Brooklyn’s dad. I feel like immediately I didn’t think anything of it. And then he just was his dad,” the model said. “They’re a beautiful family. Victoria [Beckham], she’s the style icon. They’re the coolest family.”
In addition to dating Brooklyn, Lexi was also previously in a relationship with Presley Gerber, the son of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber.
“It’s so funny because those are the types of families that I’m used to,” Lexi explained of dating people that are part of famous families. “Like, families that are in the industry, that give each other advice, work with each other where they can, like that are so close, travel together, live together, they do so much together.”
