ExclusiveThe New ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ Queens Gush Over Miley Cyrus’ ‘Really Amazing Advice’ on the Premiere

The new season of RuPaul’s Drag Race begins on Thursday, February 28 at 9 p.m., and the cast is chock-full of stunning, talented, and unique queens! Though New York natives Scarlet Envy, Ariel Versace, Shuga Cain and Honey Davenport are dazzlingly different, they do have one thing in common: they’re all huge Miley Cyrus fans! So it’s totally understandable that the beauties just about lost their minds when they learned she would be the guest host for the season premiere!

“[I was] absolutely starstruck, also had a lot going on,” Scarlet Envy told Life & Style exclusively. Ariel Versace admits that had things not been so hectic, they probably would have had time to appreciate it more. “I think we would have been a bit more starstruck, even more hype … in the situation obviously, I mean, we are in the mix of things, like ‘oh my God we are on drag race like this is crazy,’ we’re like getting ready and blah blah blah, but it was like so cool to have somebody of such a celebrity status be in there.”

Believe it or not, Miley as more than just a celebrity face behind the judging panel. She was something of a mentor as well! “She gave — I can’t really say — really amazing advice I feel like. She was so positive, she was great,” said Ariel. “She was like super fun, really really smart and insightful. She was really wonderful like I was really surprised, like I thought she was great,” Shuga Cain agreed.

Even though they were all in a high-pressure situation, Scarlet insists Miley helped calm them down. “She was exactly who I wanted her to be,” she said. “She definitely made one of the most stressful 15 minutes of my life like a little bit less … just her presence [was] calming!” We can’t wait to watch it all unfold!
