It's good to be a girl boss in 2017! Life & Style has rounded up the top female earners in Tinseltown, and given how hard these ladies work, we're not surprised to see how much dough they're raking in.
Anyone could've guessed that Oprah Winfrey reigns supreme at No. 1. Since becoming a household name in 1986, the beloved talk show host has done just as much work behind the camera as she has in front of it, and is now worth a whopping $3.1 billion!
Another name we could've predicted is Beyoncé's. Though she's married to music mogul JAY-Z, the powerhouse vocalist has proved time and time again she doesn't need a man to be successful. Her most recent Formation world tour grossed a quarter of a billion dollars, plus her latest album Lemonade sold 2.5 million copies last year. Scroll down to see which other celebs make up the richest women in Hollywood!

Oprah Winfrey, $3.1 Billion
No wonder she could afford to give away all those cars! In four decades, Oprah, 63, has gone from Nashville news anchor to wildly successful talk show host to Queen of All Media — with a magazine, production company and TV network to her credit. While Oprah’s OWN network had its most-watched year in 2016, Oprah is branching out into other areas as well, buying a 10 percent stake in Weight Watchers and acting as a brand ambassador.
But O isn’t constantly hustling. Back in April, she vacationed in French Polynesia with a stellar group that included Tom Hanks, Bruce Springsteen, and the Obamas.

Madonna, $580 Million
The Material Girl definitely knows how to spend money — $10K a month on bottled water, anyone? But she works hard for it. Madonna’s Rebel Heart tour raked in a whopping $170 million last year, the latest in a list of record-smashing tours and albums that dates back to 1983. And the cash flow doesn’t stop when the music ends. Her perfume and clothing lines have been huge successes, and investments in companies such as Vita Coco coconut water as well as the creation of the Hard Candy gym chain have paid off.
The 59-year-old also made some very smart purchases, from luxe real estate in New York’s Hamptons and NYC to a pricey art collection that, like Madonna herself, only increases in value as it ages.

Celine Dion, $400 Million
Years before Mariah Carey and Britney Spears made Las Vegas residencies trendy, Celine took the stage at Caesars Palace in 2003 and began the most successful Vegas run of all time, the first residency lasting four years and grossing $385 million. And though she took time off to raise her three sons and care for her ailing husband René Angélil (who passed away last year), she’s back at
it again.
In 2016 alone, Celine, 49, raked in $27 million. Of course, she isn’t all work and no play. When in the mood for fun in the sun, the My Heart Will Go On diva jets off to her multimillion-dollar estate in Jupiter Island, FL, which boasts its very own water park!

Barbra Streisand, $390 Million
“We weren’t poor poor,” Barbra once said of her humble Brooklyn upbringing. “We just never had anything.” She’s made up for that since, with one of the most enduring music and film careers in Hollywood and, of course, some very wise investing.
Babs, 75, who’s been a longtime art collector, also has a Malibu compound worth close to $100 million. And though she could easily be sitting back and enjoying her fortune, Barbra continues to amass dough. Last year, she took in an impressive $46 million gross for just 14 concerts.

Beyoncé, $350 Million
While setting sail in the South of France on a yacht that costs $377,000 per week to rent is out of reach for most people, it’s reality for Queen Bey. The 36-year-old’s most recent Formation world tour grossed a quarter of a billion dollars in sales. Combined with chart-topping Lemonade numbers (the album sold 2.5M copies last year, ranking first globally) and her stake in husband JAY-Z’s Tidal streaming service, the 49-date outing made 2016 one of the most profitable years ever for Beyoncé.

Jessica Alba, $350 Million
Jessica’s fortune only comes in small part from her roles in movies like Spy Kids 4 and Sin City. The 36-year-old really hit the jackpot in 2012 when she founded The Honest Company, which focuses on creating family goods. As a mother of two, Jess explains, “I wanted safe and effective consumer products that were beautifully designed, accessibly priced, and easy to get.”
She was able to make that happen, and then some! The business is now, well, an honest success, worth around a billion dollars — more than enough to fund avid shopper Jessica’s Cartier, Coach, and Dolce & Gabbana habits.
