See the Moment Nikki Bella and John Cena Split in This ‘Total Bellas’ Sneak Peek
Is this the moment that Nikki Bella and John Cena broke up? Fans are still shocked that the WWE Superstars split up and called off their wedding just weeks before they were set to walk down the aisle last month, and many of them wondered what caused the longtime couple to part ways. But now, Nikki and John are giving everyone a glimpse in the converstaion that may have led to the end of their relationship in a new sneak peek for the upcoming season of E!'s hit reality TV series, Total Bellas.
Nikki, 34, and John, 41, sat down for what seemed to be a difficult conversation. "I will never force you not to be a mom," John told his fiancée and Nikki replied, with tears streaming down her face, "I thought I could really sacrifice that and I just can't." Then John told Nikki, "I'm not sure that we should go through with this."

Fans who have watched Nikki's journey on reality TV ever since Season 1 of E's Total Divas will remember that when John and Nikki first started dating, he was very forthcoming with her about his plans for the future. He seemed adamant that he would never get married again after his divorce from his first wife, and he also said that he did not want to have children — and Nikki seemed to be able to accept that.
But John eventually did change his mind on marriage at least, and he proposed to Nikki in the middle of the ring at WWE's Wrestlemania 33. Of course, she said yes and the couple set their wedding date for May 5, but they never made it down the aisle. Nikki's twin sister — and fellow Total Bellas star — Brie Bella revealed that fans will get to have an inside look into what led to Nikki and John's breakup, and she said it was hard for her to watch Nikki be so open about something so painful.
"I really had to take a step back and allow it and that was really hard on me because it’s my twin. I want to protect her from everything," Brie told People. "This has been the hardest season to film for me because all I want to do is protect her and keep everyone away, but this is what we do."
