Tristan Thompson Asked Lani Blair to Stop Dancing Because She’s Ruining His Image
Less than two months after Tristan Thompson was caught cheating on his then pregnant girlfriend Khloé Kardashian with Instagram model Lani Blair, the NBA star is now worried about his image. So much so, that Tristan has reached out to his former mistress — and has asked her to stop dancing for good. Unfortunately for him, Lani is not listening.
"Lani thinks Tristan is crazy because he asked her to stop dancing for money. She thinks he’s lost his mind. He told her she’s ruining his imagine by being in the club scene, hosting parties, and letting everyone throw cash on her," a source told In Touch exclusively. "Lani thinks his request is too possessive, especially since she’s not his main girl. She told him she’s going to continue to do her unless he’s ready to step up and give her the world." Seriously?!
This past weekend, Lani celebrated her birthday at a Las Vegas strip club, where she opened up about her relationship with the Cleveland Cavaliers star. "I’m just here to have a good time, have a couple drinks and enjoy Vegas… Just here to have a good time tonight," she told In Touch. When asked if Tristan wished her a happy birthday, she cryptically responded, "A lot of people wished me a happy birthday."
However, despite the media attention she has gotten for her cheating scandal with Tristan, Lani is adamant she was famous way before she got involved with Khloé's baby daddy, adding she's "always had a solid fanbase." In her defense, Lani did try to reach out to Khloé to apologize following the birth of her daughter True, but the KUWTK star was not interested in hearing her out — and TBH, we don't blame her.
"Lani reached out and apologized to Khloé," our source dished. "She got her number from Tristan. Before she could finish, Khloé hung up. Lani called back, left a message, and told Khloé she feels awful, won't do it again, and basically left an honest, genuine. and heartfelt apology." Instead of worrying about what Lani is doing, let's hope Tristan shifts his focus to Khloé and his baby girl.
