Are Wells Adams and Sarah Hyland Engaged? Here’s the Announcement Everyone Missed
Did Wells Adams and Sarah Hyland get engaged? The couple — who went public with their relationship in November 2017 — has yet to confirm the news themselves, but famed celebrity photographer Yu Tsai may have actually just announced it for them! “Congratulations to my sweet friend @sarahhyland @wellsadams on their engagement,” he wrote alongside a photo with Sarah on Instagram. “Fingers crossed I get invited to the wedding.”
The photo has fans totally confused in the comments section. “Wait, really?? Neither of them posted engagement posts,” one person said. Another wrote, “That would be awkward if 1. You announced this BEFORE they even did and 2. You announced it and they weren’t really engaged yet.”
One thing is for sure: Sarah and Wells aren’t shy when it comes to sharing intimate details about their relationship on social media, so it’s a bit odd that if they really are engaged, this is how the world is finding out. Even the most recent photo the Modern Family actress shared with her Bachelor In Paradise boyfriend on Instagram made no mention of an engagement or wedding plans.
“This picture was taken three days after three words were exchanged. My smile has only grown, my heart has only deepened, and my world has only gotten better ever since,” Sarah gushed. “@wellsadams? You are the most phenomenal man I have ever met and I am the luckiest woman in the world to have you by my side. Thank you for calling me baby even when I’m acting crazy. Happy Birthday Llama! If Wells had actually popped the question, this would probably be the most logical time to share such news — but no, we got nothing. Not only that, but she has yet to be seen wearing any bling on that finger. The 27-year-old shared a video of herself on Instagram yesterday with her hands completely free of any jewelry.
The craziest part about the whole situation is that Yu Tsai still hasn’t deleted the “announcement” photo. And he even tagged Sarah, which means she knows it’s out there.
So is this the real deal or are Wells, Sarah, and Yu all playing a big fat joke on their fans? It’s unclear, but this might actually be the most dramatic engagement announcement mystery in all of Bachelor history.
