All We Know About Tyra Bank’s New Hot Ice Cream
Tyra Banks is trading in the runway for a new kind of indulgence: hot ice cream.
The supermodel’s ice cream brand, SMiZE & DREAM, just launched a product that’s heating up social media feeds everywhere — literally.
“Introducing… the world’s first HOT ice cream experience,” Banks announced in a September 26 TikTok video, as she indulged in her latest creation. “Not a latte. Not a hot chocolate. But your favorite scoops, transformed into liquid. Hot. Ice cream. Sippable, baby. The very first drop? TYRA’S FAVORITE.”
According to a press release, the innovation is “ice cream reimagined — churned, simmered, and perfected to be served warm and sippable, poured into a couture 3D cup, and finished with signature SMiZE flair.”
The first flavor, called ‘Hot Mama’, is described as “the liquid version of your favorite ice cream scoop — a culinary contradiction that shouldn’t make sense, but somehow, deliciously does.”
Banks revealed that finding the perfect texture was the biggest challenge: “At first, we tried just heating standard ice cream bases, but they turned sticky, gloopy, or too thin,” she said. “The breakthrough came when we found the perfect viscosity — not too thick, not too thin — where hot ice cream still felt as dreamy as cold ice cream.”
The SMiZE & DREAM team explained that the process involved reworking “traditional” bases and “rebalancing fats, sugars, and stabilizers to maintain that melt-on-the-tongue sensation.”
Whether this new treat becomes the next dessert craze or a curious experiment, one thing’s for sure — Tyra Banks just made ice cream hotter than ever.
