The Voice season 27 is coming to an end, and the five finalists have been revealed ahead of the two-night finale on May 19 and May 20, 2025. Life & Style breaks down which contestants were voted through to the finale and what to know about the top five.

Who Are the 5 Finalists on ‘The Voice’ Season 27?

The top 12 artists performed during the May 12, 2025, episode of The Voice, and the five finalists were announced the following night based on America’s votes. In no particular order, the five finalists are Team Kelsea Ballerini’s Jaelen Johnston, Team Michael Bublé’s Jadyn Cree, Team Bublé’s Adam David, Team John Legend’s Renzo and Team Adam Levine’s Lucia Flores-Wiseman.

Who Was the Instant Save on ‘The Voice’ Season 27?

Jaelen, Jadyn, Renzo and Lucia automatically advanced to the finale because they had the most votes. Adam, on the other hand, was one of four artists who had to perform for the instant save vote, along with Olivia Kuper Harris (Team Legend), Iris Herrera (Team Kelsea) and Bryson Battle (Team Legend).

Adam’s performance of “Lose Control” by Teddy Swims earned him enough votes from fans to be saved, and he was named the final contestant in the top five.

Who Was Eliminated in the Live Shows on ‘The Voice’ Season 27?

Olivia, Iris and Bryson were eliminated after their performances. Meanwhile, it was also the end of the road for the remaining four artists in the top 12: Kolby Cordell (Team Adam), Kaiya Hamilton (Team Bublé), Conor James (Team Adam) and Alanna Lynise (Team Kelsea).

Who Is ‘The Voice’ Season 27’s Jaelen Johnston?

Derby, Kansas, native Jaelen works full-time at the McConnell Air Force Base, according to his bio. However, when he’s not working, he’s building his music career and has been doing so for the last four years by performing at local bars, fairs and private events. He even released a four-song EP called Old School in 2023.

Jaelen went home during the playoffs, but Kelsea selected Jaelen as her “super save” artist when she found out that she could bring back one eliminated artist for the live shows.

Who Is ‘The Voice’ Season 27’s Jadyn Cree?

If Jadyn looks familiar, that’s because The Voice is a family affair for her! Jadyn’s dad, Bryan Olesen, was a finalist on season 25 of the show, having competed on Team Legend.

“My dad definitely left some big shoes to fill,” she said before she auditioned with Paramore’s “Still Into You.” “I’m excited to make him proud and try my best to get anywhere close to where he got in this competition.”

The Lincoln, Nebraska, native works as a full-time sales assistant for a window and door dealership, but she’s also following in her dad’s footsteps as the lead singer of the 1980s cover band AM/FM.

Who Is ‘The Voice’ Season 27’s Adam David?

Adam, a native of South Florida, began loving music at a young age. As he grew older, he leaned on music to get him through his struggles with addiction. Adam is now six years sober and performs at rehabilitation centers every week, according to his bio.

Who Is ‘The Voice’ Season 27’s Renzo?

Dennis Lorenzo teaches science to elementary students by day and goes by the name “Professor Renzo” at school. However, by night, he is simply Renzo, a musician who “immerses himself in performing, producing and songwriting,” according to his NBC bio. He has collaborated with artists like The Game and Teddy Riley and has produced independent artists.

Renzo is also a proud dad to three kids, Taten, Aliyah and Nyla.

Who Is ‘The Voice’ Season 27’s Lucia Flores-Wiseman?

Lucia was raised in Maple Valley, Washington, and reconnected with her Mexican roots by becoming fluent in Spanish while studying abroad in Spain. She has been influenced by singer-songwriter Brandi Carlile, according to her bio, and even sang with one of Brandi’s band members once. Before The Voice, Lucia performed at festivals and weddings and even headlined her first show.

Lucia earned four chair turns when she auditioned with Ángela Aguilar‘s “La Llorona.”
