Actress Allison Mack — best known for playing Clark Kent’s friend Chloe Sullivan on the TV show Smallville — has been arrested for her role in the alleged sex cult, NXIVM. The Daily News reported that the 35-year-old was a “recruiter” that not only lured innocent women in, but also required the slaves to engage in sexual acts with the group’s leader, Keith Raniere. She also allegedly gave Raniere naked photos of the slaves.
Allison — who reportedly ranked right below Raniere in the cult’s hierarchy — last made headlines after she was seen chasing Raniere as cops arrested him in Mexico. The group, which was founded by Raniere, was first exposed in a New York Times feature.
Back then, Frank Parlato, a former spokesman for NXIVM, claimed in his blog that Allison was second in command, which turned out to be true. In fact, he stated that she was running a sorority within the cult that brands women, presides over them like they’re slaves, and recruits top performers for Raniere’s harem! If you want a taste of freedom, keep going.” She has yet to acknowledge the arrest in any way.
