Cuffing season is officially in full effect. It looks like Demi Lovato has found someone to keep her warm when the temperature drops after she was spotted holding hands with her rumored new girlfriend Lauren Abedini.

Well, Demi is finally speaking out about her sexuality and along with responding to the rumors, she revealed more details will emerge in her aptly titled documentary Demi Lovato: Simply Complicated, which arrives on Oct. 12. (Watch the video below to get Demi’s relationship update!)

Demi, 25, and Lauren, 26, were very close during a recent trip to Disneyland, seemingly confirming their relationship. Fans of the former Disney Channel star who spotted the couple at the theme park quickly shared the exciting news all over social media. “Demi Lovato has a girlfriend… I’m shook… But I love it,” one fan tweeted while another added, “Demi Lovato is the gay icon we deserve.”

Her new relationship shouldn’t come as a huge surprise to her followers seeing as Demi came out as bisexual in 2015.”I’m not confirming and I’m definitely not denying,” she told Alan Carr when asked if her hit single “Cool for the Summer” was about lesbianism. “All my songs are based on personal experience. I don’t think there is anything wrong with experimentation at all.”

So what do we know about her new boo thing? Well, along with being a famous DJ that goes by the name Kittens, Lauren is a self-proclaimed “intersectional feminist” and runs a non-profit DJ workshop for women. She also really loves cats, if her stage name didn’t already give it away.

“I’m pretty shy and awkward when around a lot of people,” she told The 5 to 9 Life. “I love cats more than the average human, or cat lover even. I just love music and anything related to it. Listening to it, djing with it, manipulating it, dancing to it. You get the idea. I’m a math geek and I eat sweets all day.”
