One of Hollywood’s hottest hunks is officially taken. Zac Efron is dating Sarah Bro, a source tells Us Weekly. Naturally, if you’re a fan of the Disney alum, 32, you may want to know the inside scoop on his new lady, so we’ve got you covered.
Sarah may look familiar to you and that’s probably because you may have seen her competing at the Olympics. She’s a 23-year-old professional Danish swimmer who participated in the women’s 4 x 100 meter freestyle relay at the 2016 Summer Olympics. Sarah takes the sport pretty seriously — she started swimming when she was 10. According to a 2017 interview, her dream is to “beat the Danish Senior record of 200 meters back. And to get to the final at the Olympics.” Not bad! Her aspirations go beyond sports, though. The athlete hopes to become a doctor someday.
When it comes to her hobbies and interests, she’s just a regular girl. Her favorite music artists consist of Beyoncé, Post Malone, Drake and Frank Ocean. Just like many millennials, she says she’s watched pretty much every series on Netflix. Sex and the City, Gossip Girl, New Girl and Game of Thrones are a few of her go-to TV shows to binge watch. TBH, same.
Her passion seems to lie with staying active. Based on her Instagram, Sarah enjoys trying different things to stay fit. Aside from swimming, she likes yoga and boxing. “LOVE boxing as alternative training alongside my swimming,” she admitted in one of her photo captions. It makes total sense as to why she’s caught Zac’s eye. Besides being super badass and gorgeous, the two seem to bond over sports.
Speculation of Sarah dating the actor first began when they were spotted attending a fitness class in January. Most recently, they were both at the UFC 235 fight at T-Mobile Arena in L.A. on Saturday, March 2, sitting beside each other. Neither has made a public statement about their relationship, but on March 6, the fitness enthusiast posted a photo of a bouquet of flowers on her Instagram Story. She didn’t mention who they were from, but something tells us that has Zac’s name all over it! We wish them the best.
