Who Is Space Ranger on ‘The Masked Singer’? Season 13 Clues and What We Know
The show is in full gear for the “lucky 13” season of The Masked Singer. Fans were introduced to Space Ranger during the March 5, 2025, premiere, and the celebrity guesses have begun. While judges Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg and Ken Jeong have their guesses, Life & Style rounded up everything we know about the celebrity under the mask.
The Space Ranger’s Clues on ‘The Masked Singer’
The celebrity behind Space Ranger said he connects with the playful alien persona, as he is “futuristic” and “lives on his own planet,” just like the character.
“I’m pumped for this mission because The Masked Singer has been on my bucket list for years,” he said on stage. “Throughout my travels, I’ve racked up quite a few accomplishments including winning gold and taking home some serious hardware to wear around my neck.”
Mentioning his haters, he acknowledged that he wasn’t “everyone’s cup of tea.” Onscreen clues included an A-plus in P.E. on his report card, a house of cards and a box of chocolates shaped like a heart.
“That’s why I’m channeling Aries, the god of war, to put them in their place,” he told the crowd. “Sometimes you just have some bad blood land on your doorstep and you’ve gotta show ’em all you’re worth the hype. I’m going for the gold again with a track from my bestie. Beam me up, Nick!”
For his first time on stage, the outer space icon chose to sing Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood.” Although the performer didn’t sound like he had prior singing experience, he didn’t seem like a stranger to the stage.
Rita asked if there were any clues on the Space Ranger’s costume, which the camera zoomed in to reveal a belt buckle, which was made to look like an old-fashioned clock with Roman numerals.
The Judges’ Guesses for Space Ranger on ‘The Masked Singer’
Judges were stumped after Space Ranger’s performance and the results for the celebrity’s identity were mixed.
Jenny saw the P.E. report card and guessed it belonged to Fist Fight star Tracy Morgan. Meanwhile, The Hangover star suspected Floyd Mayweather, while Rita bet on Marlon Wayans.
Fan Guesses for Space Ranger on The Masked Singer
After watching the Taylor Swift rendition, fans had a big hunch the Space Ranger was Flava Flav.
“It’s the King Swiftie himself Flavor Flav! He is a Taylor Swift fan and Bad Blood is his favorite Taylor’s song,” one fan wrote underneath a clip of the performance. Meanwhile, another user added, “Flavor Flav. There’s a clock on his belt buckle and he’s famous for is clock necklaces and he’s great friends with Taylor Swift.”
A third quipped, “Even though I don’t think he did the best tonight, the Space Ranger just has aura, and I think he’s really cool. His performance was good too I suppose. I don’t know much about this individual … but he IS a Swiftie and is known for wearing a clock, so this is Flavor Flav.”
Other fan guesses for Space Ranger’s identity included rapper Kendrick Lamar and Kansas City Chiefs player Marquise “Hollywood” Brown.
