The two-hour finale for Season 12 of America's Got Talent was full of amazing talent, and even though the competition was red-hot, there were a few acts that stood above the rest as fan favorites. But at the end of the competition, it came down to the youngsters! Darci Lynne Farmer went head to head with Angelica Hale for the top spot — but only one could win the $1 million prize and earn their own headlining show in Las Vegas. Keep scrolling to find out who won!

Darci Lynne Farmer is the 2017 AGT winner!

Darci is a 12-year-old ventriloquist from Oklahoma City. She earned the Golden Buzzer earlier in the season with an adorable set featuring her puppet sidekick — a bunny named Petunia. Since then, she's continued to delight the judges with her ventriloquism act, which included singing and a comedy sketch featuring a different puppet each week.

For her final performance, she brought out her pals Petunia and Oscar and she sang an impressive rendition of The Beatles' song "A Little Help From My Friends." Judge Simon Cowell seemed to predict tonight's results when he told her, “I think you’re gonna win.”

Angelica Hale came in second place.

She may only be nine-years-old, but she's a pint-sized powerhouse! Guest judge Chris Hardwick's jaw dropped as she belted out Alicia Keys' 2012 hit song "This Girl Is on Fire" during the auditions, and she earned a standing ovation from the audience — along with Chris' Golden Buzzer.

Who made the AGT top 5?

The finale started with ten acts, but Chase Goehring, Evie Clair, Diavolo, Preacher Lawson, and Kechi Okwuchi were cut from the competition. Rounding out the top five were Mandy Harvey, Sara and Hero, Light Balance, Darci Lynne, and Angelica. Sara and her adorable dog Hero came in at fifth place, and Mandy Harvey came in at fourth place. Angelica, Light Balance, and Darci Lynne made it to the top three, and Light Balance finished in third place.
