Who is Angelica Hale on America’s Got Talent? The adorable nine-year-old from Atlanta with an unbelievable singing voice wowed judges on night two of auditions to the point where they gave her a standing ovation—and she brought them to their feet again tonight!

Little Angelica is a tiny powerhouse, and this time she knew she had to wow the judges Simon Cowell, Howie Mandell, Mel B, and Heidi Klum — including guest judge Chris Hardwick. For her second performance on the show, Angelica chose to show off her skills by singing Alicia Keys' 2012 hit song "This Girl Is on Fire."

Chris' jaw dropped when Angelica started to sing the first verse and the crowd went wild when she got to the chorus and hit every note perfectly. By the end of the performance, she earned a standing ovation from the audience. The host of NBC's The Wall said that he couldn't believe that such a big voice could come out of her tiny little body — and he was so impressed that he hit the Golden Buzzer!

Angelica screamed with excitement and cried happy tears as she was showered with gold confetti and her parents just as excited! They were waiting for her backstage and welcomed her with big hugs — and Angelica stopped to explain just how she was feeling in that moment.

“Chris Hardwick just gave me the Golden Buzzer — I’m going straight to the live shows!” she said, squealing. “My heart was pounding out of my chest. When the golden confetti like popped, like all the breath was stolen out of me.”

The adorable little girl not only has an incredible set of pipes — but she also has an incredible story. She started singing at two years old, but when she was just four years old, she developed her double pneumonia after she got a bacterial infection in her lungs, according to her bio on her website. She was placed on life support for two weeks and after 80 days in the hospital, she was finally better but her illness destroyed kidneys.

Angelica spent a year and a half on Hemodialysis and later peritoneal dialysis to treat her kidney failure until — after many tests — doctors found out that Angelica's mom was the perfect candidate to donate a kidney. In 2013, her mom donated her kidney to her daughter and little Angelica has been singing ever since.
