The New England Patriots Star Tom Brady Wins His 6th Super Bowl Ever — Get the Details!

Are you filled to the brim with nachos and buffalo wings? Then, at least you had a successful Super Bowl LIII. The New England Patriots beat out the Los Angeles Rams with a final score of 13 to 3. February 3 marked the biggest game of the season, and only one team could bring the coveted title back to their hometown.

The teams faced off at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. The arena was erected in 2017, so it was the first time the big game was hosted there. It was definitely an intense match. The Patriots and Rams proved to be an interesting mashup. It all came down to a tie in the third quarter, but the Pats were able to break the tie with a touchdown and a field goal.

The New England veteran team already had five Super Bowl wins — XXXVI, XXXVIII, XXXIX, XLIX, and LI — under their belt before heading to Atlanta for this year’s game. However, they’ve also lost five of the big games — XX, XXXI, XLII, XLVI, and LII. You win some, you lose some, right?

The Rams just returned back to Los Angeles in 2015 after being in St. Louis for almost 20 years. The team won Super Bowl XXXIV while located in Missouri, but were defeated by the Patriots during Super Bowl XXXVI in 2002. Old rivalries die hard.

Another topic of conversation is centered around Tom Brady. If the 41-year-old quarterback stays true to his word, that would mean retirement is in the near future. Although he’s previously said that he plans on playing until he’s 45, the athlete also told Gisele Bündchen that he just wanted to win two more Super Bowls. A simple request, right?

“Two more Super Bowls. Two more,” the hunky athlete said in an interview with his wife. “That could be shorter than five or six [more years].” Will he live up to his word? Time will tell!

Whether you’re celebrating or mourning the outcome of the Super Bowl, it was definitely an exciting game!
