*Sigh.* So much for engagement szn. It looks like jealousy is what rocked the boat for Paris Hilton and Chris Zylka‘s relationship. The couple broke up earlier this month after almost two years together. The blondest couple ever seemed so happy and were even busy planning their wedding when news of their split surfaced. However, it turns out their break up may have been for the best, according to Life & Style magazine on newsstands now.

The Leftovers actor reportedly “couldn’t handle all the attention Paris got in public from fans and men fawning over her,” a Life & Style insider told the publication. His jealousy even hit a point of becoming physical, the source claims. “He shoved the guy and shouted, ‘Keep your hands to yourself!’ Paris tried to jump in, saying, ‘Honey, it’s OK, I know him.’ But Chris just screamed, ‘I don’t give a f—k!’” Wow, scary stuff. Rumors that there was trouble in paradise starting swirling when the couple postponed their wedding. Paris blamed her “insane” schedule when she spoke to Life & Style at the Harper’s Bazaar Icons event in September. “My 24th fragrance comes out during November, so I am going to be on tour in Australia and China and Italy. I am not going to have time [to plan] and I want to make it perfect,” the heiress said.

She continued to gush about her now ex-fiancé, “I have never in my life met a man so loyal, dedicated, and loving. I knew right from the start that I wanted to be with him forever.” It seemed like Chris was just as smitten. He showed his commitment by getting the starlet’s name tattooed on his forearm in Disney font. He has since deleted the Instagram video showing off his new ink. Eek, hopefully, he’s on his way to get that covered up. Another one bites the dust!
