‘Teen Mom 2’ Star Kailyn Lowry Reveals Why She Wants a Breast Reduction — ‘I Literally Can’t Deal’

“Just met with the doctor for my reduction, you guys!!!” The proud mama-of-three exclaimed on Twitter after meeting with surgeon Michael K. Obeng MD.

Shortly thereafter, Kailyn briefly explained her thought process. “Honestly, I think my huge boobs make me look bigger than I am. Certain clothes [don’t] lay right.” Ummm, can you say #relatable? “I’m already a big girl [and] my boobs don’t help that situation,” she added.

Speaking more in depth on her reasoning, Kailyn told Life & Style, “My weight gain … my chest has gotten so big I literally can’t deal. My back hurts, bras don’t fit. I have to hold them down when I work out. “

“I think I’ll feel better about my health and my appearance,” the MTV alum noted.

Unfortunately, haters have tried to shame Kailyn for her decision. “Reduction of what? You’ve ruined yourself to look like an [emoji], so now you want to go back like Bri and try to fix what you never should have done in the first place. Hopefully, it’s not Dr. Miami again. See how well that worked out that the first time?” one troll wrote.

“What are you getting reduced?” another asked, to which one hater replied, “hopefully, her ego.”

As it happens, though, Kailyn is completely unbothered by the negativity! “I’m not really sure about responses. I haven’t really paid too much attention to what people are saying about it,” she expressed.

If you’re one of Kail’s loyal fans, however, don’t worry! She tries to keep up with the helpful responses! “I think I’ve seen a few people respond it was the best decision they’ve made,” the blonde beauty noted. 

As to whether Kailyn plans on telling her boys — Issac, 9, Lincoln, 5, and Lux, 19 months — about her surgery? She already has a game plan!

“I don’t think it’s something my kids necessarily need to know,” she said. “I’ll get it while they’re with their dads and come home and keep it moving.”

In addition to her game plan regarding the boys, Kailyn has also already mapped out what her recovery will look like! Basically, she’s Super Woman.

My friends are supportive and are offering to help with recovery,” Kailyn assured. “Although, I’ve heard it’s about two weeks of down time.”

Even with the projected recovery time, Kailyn is hardly worried about it. As we’ve all seen, she’s dealt with far bigger hardships in her life.

“I’m sure I’ll be fine. One of my friends will come help,” she concluded.

Fine, indeed, girl! Should Kailyn choose to go through with the surgery, we look forward to seeing the results. We have no doubt that she’ll look even more fabulous than she does now. After all, there’s nothing more beautiful than being comfortable in your own skin.
