Will Jason Kelce Be Travis Kelce’s Best Man In Taylor Swift Wedding?
Jason Kelce might just be preparing the ultimate best man speech.
Just days after Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift confirmed their engagement, fans have been buzzing with questions about what their wedding will look like — and more importantly, who will stand by Travis’ side on the big day. Naturally, the obvious pick seems to be his brother Jason, who isn’t shy about wanting the honor.
“First of all, hopefully I’m the best man,” Jason shared during the September 2 episode of the “Bussin’ With The Boys” podcast. “We’ll see. Trav has a lot of friends. I’m just hoping to get the opportunity.”
As Travis’ one and only sibling, the retired Philadelphia Eagles star is clearly the frontrunner for the role. And if his heartfelt words about Travis and Taylor’s relationship are any indication, Jason is already in full best man mode.
“I love my brother, and I just want him to have like the most fulfilled, best life possible,” Jason said. “And such a huge part of that is like, you know, who you end up marrying, who you end up raising a family with.”
Jason, who shares four daughters with wife Kylie Kelce, couldn’t stop gushing about the couple’s bond. “They are unbelievably supportive of each other, in both of their outlandishly successful worlds,” he continued. “I know the kind of person he is, and I’ve been blessed to get to know Taylor over the last couple years. And I just think that they match so well together.”
The 37-year-old even reflected on Taylor’s now-viral comment from her sit-down with the brothers on *New Heights,* when she called Travis a “human exclamation point.” The sweet phrase left Jason visibly emotional at the time — and he still stands by it as the best way to describe his younger brother.
“You’re listening to somebody describe your brother, but you’re hearing how she fully understands why Travis is an incredible human being,” Jason explained. “And like the human exclamation point was like the best way I’ve ever heard Travis described in my life. I think it’s like such an accurate statement.”
He added, “The dude just brings joy and like to every place he ever is and like people love him and he makes everything better. And to watch them support each other, love each other, and get to this stage and now to have this together—I’m just very happy for him.”
The heartfelt remarks even led podcast hosts Will Compton and Taylor Lewan to joke, “Did we just hear a best man speech?”
Jason laughed off the idea, but didn’t deny it, promising, “I’m going to fire up something a lot better. We’re gonna do a lot more planning, I got to be good at this.”
