Did Dean from ‘The Bachelorette’ Just Accidentally Give Away the Ending?
SPOILER ALERT! Dean Uglert did not walk away with Rachel Lindsay‘s final rose on The Bachelorette, but that doesn’t mean he has to ruin the ending for the rest of us. The blue-eyed cutie opened up about the reality dating competition, and his pick for the next Bachelor has us scrambling to update our brackets.
“I said it a million times, and I’ll say it a million more, Peter and I were like best friends on the show so he was always the one that, after I had left, was hoping to end up with Rachel,” Dean told E! News. But when asked who he thinks should be the next Bachelor, he replied very confidently, “Hands down Peter 2018.” He quickly backtracked by adding, “If that’s possible. I don’t know if he’s engaged or not, but I would gladly concede to Peter as Bachelor.” It’s hard to believe he doesn’t know if his “best friend” proposed to Rachel…
In any case, Bachelor Nation fans who were rooting for Dean to become the new Bachelor will have to wait. The 26-year-old agreed that he is too young to take on the title — and admitted he had some emotional maturing to do. “I just don’t think I’m ready for it,” he said. “I just think that from an emotional standpoint I need to figure out a lot more about myself before I dive in and be the lead of anything. I think I have a ways to go before I’m ready for something like that.”

However, this is not the last you will see of Dean — who we still love despite his possible spoiler — as he is appearing on the upcoming season of Bachelor in Paradise. “Going to Paradise was perfect for me,” he said. “It was much more relaxed and just a fun environment.” Dean is rumored to hit it off with more than one former Bachelor contestant while down in Mexico.
