The Cast of ‘Dance Moms’ Reunited for Reunion Special: See Abby Lee Miller and the Dancers Today

It’s crazy to think Dance Moms first graced our television screens back in 2011, and Maddie Ziegler, Chloe Lukasiak, Nia Frazier and more cast members were introduced as young girls in Abby Lee Miller’s class. These days, they’re all grown up and have changed so much.

Abby’s controversial teaching method makes for great television but has created a strained relationship with many of her former students.

Maddie, one of Abby’s most successful protégés, exclusively told Life & Style in April 2019 that she’s “not in contact” with her former coach.

While most of the cast has shaded Abby after their time on Dance Moms, JoJo Siwa has remained amicable with her former coach and they even reunited in July 2022.

In April 2024, the cast – including JoJo, Chloe, Paige Hyland, Brooke Hyland and more – reunited for Lifetime’s Dance Moms: The Reunion.

Abby had a tumultuous few years — from serving prison time for bankruptcy fraud to being diagnosed with Burkitt lymphoma. After a year-long cancer battle, the choreographer announced in May 2019 she is officially cancer-free.

While she may be retired from TV, Abby is a podcaster and launched her show “Leave It On the Dance Floor” in June 2023.

Maddie has written books, became a favorite performer of singer Sia and made her acting debut in 2017’s The Book of Henry. With nearly 14 million social media followers, she’s taken on many partnerships with companies like Morphe and Fabletics.

Mackenzie Ziegler

Maddie’s younger sister is making a name for herself as a singer and even collaborated with Sia on the hit “Exhale.”

On top of pursuing a singing and acting career, Mackenzie is a student at UCLA.

Chloe Lukasiak

The Pennsylvania native graduated from the prestigious Pepperdine University in California and works as an influencer for her 8 million Instagram followers.

Nia Frazier

Nia attends UCLA and is still close pals with Chloe. She has over 5.9 million Instagram followers and also runs her own YouTube channel.

Brooke Hyland

Brooke now lives in Los Angeles and hangs out with her former costars, including her younger sister, Paige. She appears to also be doing the influencer thing alongside her fellow reality TV teammates.

Although Paige has a lot of photos with Brooke, she actually lives on the other side of the country as a student at West Virginia University.

Vivi is still a dancer through and through. She frequently posts tap dancing videos on her Instagram.

JoJo Siwa

JoJo found great success after just two seasons on the reality show. She is a pop artist and among her young fans is Kim Kardashian’s daughter North West. The Nebraska native is also still close with Abby. She defended her former coach after Brooke shared a shady TikTok about her.
