It’s no secret that Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are the definition of #couplegoals. The two travel around the world for work, but yet they always make time for each other. Even though Jennifer has been engaged five times before, it sounds like there could be another proposal in the works.

According to a source who spoke to Life & Style exclusively, the former Yankees star is “finally ready to pop the question, but he’s terrified of picking out the wrong ring!”

On Nov. 2, the pair were spotted ring shopping at Cartier in Miami’s Design District. The “Jenny From The Block” singer apparently doesn’t like surprises, though. The source confessed, “Jennifer is incredibly picky about her jewelry, especially when it comes to engagement rings. And since she’ll be wearing it every single day, it has to be flawless — just like her!”

It was fate that the pair got together later in life since they are now both successful and more confident in themselves. Alex got candid on the Today show and talked about their relationship. He said, “If this happened while we were in our 20s, it would’ve never happened. It was just too much craziness. I wasn’t mature enough. We’re both in our 40s, we’re both from New York. We both come from Latino backgrounds, we both have two kids. We’ve both been through a lot and can really appreciate each other, both the good and the challenges.”
